We're talking about upcoming events, let's not forget that tomorrow is Toast Days in Lake Wobegon.
This is a big festival every summer, well thank you.
You have a few residents in Lake Wobegon, found their way down to the Twin Cities.
Nice to have you to come.
Toast Days and also the Jack's 24th Annual Classic Horse Shoot Tournament
and also the Cow Chip Throwing Tournament.
Down there by the railroad tracks in the vacant yard there.
Everybody over 16 may participate, no shaping of the chips is allowed.
Contestants may not lick their hands between throws.
Oh, what else going on in Lake Wobegon?
Oh, there's one cancellation tomorrow for visitors day.
The Wilie's, Sparky and Sue will not be holding open house tomorrow, or any time soon,
due to the fact that their Boston Fern is seriously ill with muscatel poisoning.
That was from last Sunday.
Sparky says if you didn't like it, you should ask for coffee.
The Ping Pong table at the Virgil Bunsen will be open from noon on tomorrow in Lake Wobegon.
Dwayne Bunsen, current champion, will take on all comers.
Visitors are reminded that the light bulb over the southwest end of the table has been broken twice
and the clothes dryer at the northern corner has been frequently chipped, so request your cooperation.
So there,
Tomorrow and also there will be a little celebration
for Bob Johnson, who was elected to the municipal judge ship out in Lake Wobegon,
giving up his law practice after successfully defending a client a couple weeks ago.
He got him off on an overtime parking charge by proving through hard cross-examination
that at the time the defendant was alleged to have been parking overtime,
he was actually at his place of employment at the bank embezzling over $4,000 out of the petty cash fund.
They put him on the bench, decided they couldn't deal with anymore of that!
Listen, we got a go.
We'll see you again next Saturday night, back to the St. Paul Ramsey Arts and Science Center,
A Prairie Home Companion, coming to you from Nicollet Island, produced by Margaret Moose,
Technical Direction by David Fallon with Buzz Kemper, with Ray Markland, and Mr. Pat Kessler,

Additional information, mentions, etc.

Garrison thanks the Minneapolis Aquatennial and the Minneapolis Arts Council for arranging for the bandshell at Nicollet Island Center for the show.
Powder Milk Biscuit Mouth Off in a coupld of months!
